What is a safe zone?

The safe zone refers to the safe printing area on your label. Keeping your artwork within this area will ensure nothing is cut off during printing due to the mechanical shift of the printer. We recommend that all text, icons, and other important artwork elements be kept within this area.

The safe zone for labels on sheets, cut-to-size labels, stickers, and keg collars is 0.125” in from the outer edge of the label. The safe zone for labels on rolls is 0.0625” in from the outer edge of the label. The safe zone is represented by the black dotted line on your proof page unless otherwise noted on your proof.
